Right then, another car suddenly drove over before Warren rushed out of the vehicle.

When he saw his mother pulling Amelia, he immediately stepped forward and said, “Mom,

what are you doing here? What did you say to Amelia?”

After saying that, he looked at Amelia nervously. “No matter what my mother said, don’t

take it seriously.” He seemed to be afraid that what his mother said would make her

unhappy.

Lydia’s face darkened. “Don’t worry. I didn’t say anything unpleasant to Amelia.”

Warren was still suspicious, so Amelia said, “It’s true. Your mother didn’t say anything

hurtful.”

Warren sighed with relief. “Mom, why are you here?”

“I just came to visit my daughter-in-law. You didn’t even tell the family about you getting

Lydia was shocked. “You… Are you crazy? ”

Warren smiled bitterly. “Mom, I’ve been crazy for a long time, don’t you know that? Back

when I first learned the whole truth about how it was Amelia who donated her bone

marrow to selflessly save me, how Irene deliberately framed her, and when I became an

“So you came to me tonight to talk about it?” Jonathan said.

“Yeah, how about it? Do you want to drink?” Warren raised the bottle again.

Jonathan smiled and said, “Okay. I’ll drink with you.” With that, he ordered the

housekeeper to bring two glasses over so he could drink with Warren.

What do you think I can do to get her to accept me again? Why is it so difficult?” he

forgave him.
