Lewis was curious about how Judy planned to make up her story.

“Yes.” Judy stared straight at him. She did not avoid his gaze. “Larissa is a spy planted by your side by Moorewell.

“Isn’t this something planned by you guys? Lewis asked.

Judy’s eye twitched as she had a moment of panic. “N–no!” She furiously denied it. “How could this be planned? I

didn’t think that Larissa would go to that restaurant for dinner too!”

Her reaction made Lewis feel suspicious. Clearly, everything that Judy had said before were lies that she had

scripted early on. That was why she was able to be so calm. But his sudden question was not anticipated by her and

her accomplices, so she panicked.

In this situation creating a lie on the spot would cause emotional instability

Thus, Lewis came to his conclusion immediately. Judy getting into a conflict with the waitress, getting caught on

video, and proceeding to get fired was part of their plan.

His gaze was sharp, and Judy looked down quillity. “I swear that I’m not lying to you.” She was clearly not as

Judy gave her lawyer a look, and the lawyer took out a document and gave it to Lewis,

*This is the settlement agreement” the lawyer said. “If you are certain that my client is not lying, please sign it and

send it to my law firm.”

“Okay.” Lewis accepted the document.

“If there’s nothing else, we’ll take our leave.” The lawyer and Judy got up together and left Lewis” office.

Larissa was wondering why they had not left the office for so long when she saw Judy and the lawyer coming over

to her. Lewis was not

behind them.

Judy still stopped before Larissa’s workplace. “I’m sorry, Larissa.” She left that confusing bit with Larissa before

hurrying away.

Marilyn had seen Judy and Larissa’s two interactions. She asked Larissa, “What’s up with Judy?”

Larissa replied. “No idea.”

“You’re suddenly friends?”

“No.” Larissa did not know how the hell Marilyn managed to see that. Their attitude toward each other had not

changed from belore. It was just that Judy had said some pretty weird things that confused people.

Another message popped out on the screen, but it was not from Marilyn.

Lewis had summoned her.

“Come to my office.”
