Everyone present, with baited breath, was worried about Lan. As a first–class lawyer, he would suffer

from absolute disgrace if he lost the court case to Nova, a novice who was still wet behind ears.

At long last, Lan hit back at the third point with his rebuttal.

“Defense attorney, please speak.”

Clenching his fists, Lan had a feeling that lawsuit was doomed to lose.

But he wouldn’t cry uncle easily and disgracefully. Then he spoke again, “In view of the statement of the

plaintiff, my client is willing to give the project to the plaintiff, but further compensation is unacceptable.”

Immediately there followed a string of evidence.

Zona couldn’t help inhaling deeply. “That’s amazing! I don’t expect that Nova is such an excellent

Stella curled her lips slightly, wordless for Zona’s insensitivity. Zona should have been the last one who

couldn’t see through Nova’s camouflage if she was not such a dull girl.-

Her Stella was very thick with Nova, but as everybody all known, she was only close to Polly and she

would be present at every case of Polly’s. Therefore, it was quite clear that Nova and Polly were one and

the same person.

But Zona hasn’t figured the secret out yet.

Others present here today, however, thought Nova went a bit too far ahead for asking for such a chunk of

damages since they believed that the victory of the Don family group had proven nothing but she had a

smart mouth and fortune was on her side.

Tens of billions of additional compensations! Is she serious?!

Chester smiled faintly. He appreciated Nova, that sort of people who mean business, and the amount of

compensation really delighted him.

Given the fame and competence of Lan, no one rated Nova at all but she surprised them all…

All the points of argument listed by Lan were divided and conquered by her.
