Nova’s smile froze for only a while as she saw the men since she didn’t think they were waiting for her.

Before she finished her words a staff behind her tugged at her sleeve to stop her, then instantly she stole a glance

at Kelly. Something is amiss. Sensing that she swallowed the rest of her word in panic.

Is she going for wool and coming home shorn now?

Curving the corner of her lips, Nova moved her foot to leave quietly.

Payne was unwilling to lose the chance to make up to Henry. Bowing his head in respect, he greeted them, “Mr.

King, Mr. Spears, nice to meet you here.”

Henry ignored him completely but Lan smiled back. “Mr. Lloyd, good to see you again.”

Payne got cold feet at Lan’s words since there was obviously hidden meaning behind his words.

It was tricky now. Nova thought to herself. I’d better take another way out. “Nature’s call, I have to go to the

restroom, you can just go first.

I’ll go home alone in a while.”

Saying that she turned around. “Nova, I’ll be waiting for you here. It’s not safe to go home alone for you.” Seeing

that, Kelly decided to stay here in case Nova came up with something bad for herself.

everybody, let’s call it a day! I’m happy to have fun with you guys today, and looking forward to our next revelry.”

Everyone nodded in agreement but they thought differently in their heart.

Is Kelly trying to help Nova quash the rumors with Payne?

People around all looked perplexed at the current situation.

Henry and Lan were standing in the same spot and Payne hovered nervously in the doorway. He dared to leave

Henry and Lan behind. So far so good at that time except some young girls were dreaming something romantic

and intended for some romantic accidents.
