Mackenzie’s gaze visibly chilled at the sight of Claudette approaching her

husband.

Mackenzie harrumphed coldly and ducked into the passenger seat.

Her declaration moved Emmanuel, though his warm feelings were

short–lived when she mentioned that she was worried about exposing their
